City Country Garden

A wild garden with planting reminiscent of an English country garden, its soft lines offset the strong architectural lines of a new build in the heart of London. The existing Edwardian rockery was re-conceived into a play-hill for the children, using the limestone rocks as a dry-stone retaining wall. The planting moves from formal borders to the more informal meadow-planting.
